Hertfordshire is a large county in the east of England to the north of London and bordered by the counties of Essex to the east, Buckinghamshire to the west and Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire to the north. Its main towns and cities include Hertford, Watford, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Stevenage, Hatfield and Hitchin.
